This award is Fleishman-Hillard’s most prestigious and coveted individual award — recognising those who follow John’s example in serving FH clients, in fully embracing FH’s values, and in inspiring and leading their teams. Candidates for the award are nominated by their peers, based on such criteria as individual achievement, strong interoffice skills, business-building and exemplary client service. The recipients are then selected by a committee of prior winners.

Kevin Bell, Regional President UK, Africa and the Middle East: Kevin is an inspirational leader and lives the values and culture of Fleishman-Hillard in all that he does. Kevin joined FH in 1996 and has been a key part of the South Africa business for many years. Following his promotion to MD in 2007, Kevin continued the growth of our SA operations. This has included finalizing negotiations with our Black Economic Empowerment partner, broadening our pan-African affiliate network, and overseeing recent changes in Cape Town, returning the office to profitability. During his tenure he has led by example in the management of client account and work teams. He is a first class strategist and applies his solid understanding of business and global markets to best advice for clients. This year alone we have seen significant contracts signed with Visa, Microsoft, Computer Associates, and Nike. Stepping up to the Managing Director role, Kevin has led the Johannesburg office to solid financial performance and staff growth to 41, in addition to the Cape Town responsibilities, while maintaining true to the FH culture.
Mohammed El Batta, Director, FH Middle East: Leaders like yourself are an inspiration to us who are new to Fleishman Hillard. Our team here in the Middle East has a lot in common with FH South Africa in that we are both quite distant and both enthusiastically pursuing new markets.
